went out today...

...to water the monster basil (which must be turned into pesto soonest). Basil and salvia were covered with bees (various) and butterflies (various). Bees tended to be honey and bumble, but I didn't look too close. The butterflies were a great variety of small butterflies. One Buckeye (Junonia coenia), a couple of Small White ( Pieris rapae ), an Orange Sulfur (Colias eurytheme) and a couple of Fritallary but I am not sure which (pretty little rusty guys).

I went out to water things and then just sat for a couple of minutes just watching the little flutterbys. Now I have to go back to work.

The size comes with the personality. Mainly Clown cats are too much fun.

We had four days in the 50-60s two weeks ago. Our snow went and the floods came. We are supposed to get 2-4" tonight and then it gets warm again.

We saw a couple of crocuses blooming in the next block, yesterday. Ours are still under a 3' snowdrift.

Not old enough for Medicare yet. My problem is my doctor & she needs to become my ex-doctor ASAP.
