Otto's is a family owned local producer who has been at the same farm/place since 1846 ( which is a long time here in Michigan).
The earliest portion of my grandparents farm house was older. There was a portion built by the end of the 18th century. It then did the usual New England thing of growing in a connected fashion -- house, back house, shed with a milk room addition, first/smaller barn, bigger barn with a third large detached barn. The detached barn in my time was the place where the owls lived and lumber was left to dry.
