The sugar maples are starting to turn, as are the Honey Locusts. The Norway maples have all turned brown and have completed the leaf drop. The Poison Ivy is beautifully red. Won't be a great fall for leaf peepers but then that is not something Michigan is known for, at least in this part of the state.

Rainy and gray for the last few days. Humidity higher than the temperature. Calico Lady sitting in the drive way staring into my back yard. I didn't see anything but perhaps she did.

Spent the early afternoon rewriting a student torture device -- quiz the first in my color class. They have to demo principles and the use of software. It is exceedingly simple and will be for for all but a few. It is open computer/book/notes and still a few will not pass, sigh. I have done my best, now so must they.
