As I came out of the Dr.'s office and turned on to the road I saw a smaller hawk perched in a tree. I was moving too fast to make an identification, but shape hawkish. I ran errands and went by a wooded area in the "MSU back forty". Saw what I believe to be a Sharp-Shinned hawk take down a small flying something. I've seen this hawk hunting in this area before.
So all in all it was a three hawk day. Weather beans saying 3-5 inches of snow later today and tonight. I'll believe it when I see it.
