the day so far...

Had to be at an Advisory Committee** meeting early this morning. There was about 4 inches of very wet compacted snow on everything. My snow removal person arrives just as I got into the car and did snow removal on said car. I had turned it on earlier because I was afraid that there might be ice under the snow coat so removal would be easier.

This is what it looked like in my backyard this morning.

Came home and cancelled the trip to the garage where the software on my car would be upgraded. The battery light screams whenever I get into the car (supposed to scream when it gets down TO 25% but instead screams when down 25%). What a difference -- some programmer flunked math.

Also Romy putting heated floor in bathroom to good use.

This is a closeup of her from last night when she was investigating what I was reading. Such pretty green eyes!

** As a MI community college we are required to actually talk to representatives of the business community in the state that might hire our graduates and also from the schools where our students transfer. We try to not be an ivory tower like other institutions I won't name but they do have better basketball teams than we do.
