my garden on a nice fall day...

Spent the afternoon in a software training session for a new system at school. I don't count it as good if the trainer (from the company who we bought the software from) keeps saying "I'm not sure why it did that?"

I came home and perused my garden to do something that would benefit my brain. The mountain ash outside my bedroom window seems to have been stripped of all berries. Obviously a ravaging horde flew through this afternoon. This is not to say that local critters haven't been availing themselves of a snack now and again but there were quite a few berries yesterday and none today.

The Beautyberry (Callicarpa bodinieri) in the front is magnificent. Purple berries!!

Nothing more to report at the moment. The witch hazel in front is starting to turn colors, when it is complete the ribs will be a dark maroon. Pictures then as well but it is nice now.
