art, plants & maine coon cats

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful fall day. Sunny, 50 degrees and trees perfect (for those trees that weren't totally stressed by the drought this summer). Today on the other hand is dark, very wet and nastily cold. Ah, fall in the Midwest.

Next Saturday cat #2 will be delivered. Her name is Ashlar and she is eight months old. Maine Coon, of course.

Fergie is now answering to Fi (fee) -- her new name will be some variant of Fiona. I had to work with the F sound because she did know her name. I hope she likes the friend I got her. Two cats are better than a lonely singleton which is what I have now.
