We saw only one hawk in our travels to Ann Arbor but maybe a dozen turkey buzzards. There were copious quantities of road kill. Raccoons, a woodchuck, three possums, a fox and many un-identifiable smears. There were half a dozen deer as well. All of this might account for all the buzzards but I didn't see any dead buzzards so they are at least being careful.
