the last day of the semester...

Hurrah!!! Grades not done and still meetings next week but no students to deal with.

Speaking of students, as Cami and I came home from dinner (yummy - sushi) we watched the beginning of the annual migration of students from East Lansing. She talked of flocks of birds and I thought about mist nets and capturing and tagging a few -- MY BRAIN is FRIED! or my brain is fred and THAT is a totally different discussion.

East Lansing will be habitable for the next few months with the majority of party birds in the exodus. Coming home there was a red tailed hawk sitting on a street light looking as disgruntled as I am feeling, downpours for the last little while. The rain has let up but it was really raining!
